Soma Capital is a seed-stage venture fund founded in 2015 by Aneel Ranadive, designed by founders for founders. The firm has invested at the seed stage in over 30 startups valued at over $1B each — including Deel ($12B), Rippling ($16B), Ramp ($13B), Cognition ($4B), and Mercor ($2B). With $1B in AUM and over 1,000 portfolio companies, Soma is one of the most prolific early-stage investors. The Ranadive family's experience building Tibco (a $4.3B exit) gives the firm CEO-level relationships with major brands.
