Conviction Embed

Conviction Embed is the grant and accelerator program run by Conviction, a venture firm founded in 2022 by Sarah Guo (former Greylock general partner) and Mike Vernal (former Sequoia partner). The program provides $150K via uncapped MFN SAFE notes specifically to early-stage AI research teams and startups. Conviction has become one of the most talked-about firms investing in AI, backing some of the buzziest companies in the space. The firm remains deliberately small, with about eight staff members.
